Rampage was released in 1986 for the arcades by Bally Midway and allowed three players to play one of 3 different monsters at the same time! Play as George, Lizzy or Ralph, huge mutants that resemble Godzilla, King Kong and a big Wolf! Rampage is a classic arcade smash hit, and the stand up machine is worth a great amount of cash today. This awesome version on the Sega Master System was released in 1986 and was distributed by Activision. The SMS has some great arcade ports and some real duds, this is one of the best! Controls are spot on, colors and graphics are superb and Rampage comes alive in this cartridge. Classic Game Room is the retro reviewer to watch for Sega reviews. This arcade style remake by Crave for the Nintendo 64 gets a favorable review from Classic Game Room, actually it gets a smashing review! This game is AWESOME and should be played by all fans of Robotron 2084. Revamped style, graphics and a mind numbing techno beat turn Robotron 64 into a surprisingly entertaining remake of the Eugene Jarvis original. This cartridge based game for the Nintendo 64 won’t cost you much these days, but as you can see in the gameplay of the Robotron 64 review, the experience is intense, challenging and explosive. Most of your favorite Robotron characters are back including the brain people, spheroids and tanks, but this time with a completely new style. The N64 controller uses a Robotron style joystick layout (with the buttons) that works fairly well, the graphics are excellent and the animation and gameplay is smooth. We can’t recommend Robotron 64 enough and claim that this game is worth the price of a used N64 system by itself.
