Okay, seriously, who CARES if the character actually says that (even though it’s a bit of a stretch). Because of this current climate, so many people are hearing things in ALL sorts of media. And what if the character IS saying that? How does that affect ANYTHING? Do you think KIDS will understand that? REALLY? Come ON now! This is ridiculous bullshit. It was only a few months ago that there were stories of Sony recalling Little Big Planet due to complaints from muslims that certain islamic words could be heard in the game. Ridiculous.

If the people who say it think that it means “God,” then, for the purposes of this discussion, it means “God.” Why would “people” who proudly commit the most heinous acts and openly insist that they’re doing them for their god feel compelled to lie about the word that represents him?
As for evil gods, they don’t come much more evil than the God of the bible, with his constant temper tantrums, mass infanticide, sending people like Gandhi to hell, etc., etc., etc.

In the 1950’s a major temple to the Moon-god was excavated at Hazor in Palestine.

Actually, the phrase is NOT “God is great”
It’s actually “Allah is Greater”. And I would say this “god” allah is very evil.
Note, allah does not mean God, no matter how many times the muslims tell you that.
allah is the personal name of the god of the muslims. who is actually NOT the Creator God. His name is YHWH.
In Arabic the word for god is “ilah”.

Barely relative.. but a friend in GA. told me that Muslims protested at a conservative convention in Tenn. recently, and the conservatives closed up and went home, for fear of what the Muslims were going to do. I think she found out about it on Facebook.
