Crappy Video Game Reviews (CVGR) presents Episode 4: Galaga ‘90 for the TurboGrafx-16 via the Wii Virtual Console. Ah, yes, Galaga ‘90, what a great game! Also known as Galaga ‘88 in the arcades and the Japanese version of the TurboGrafx-16, the PC Engine. Why do I call this CVGR? Because I ramble, the video quality is poor, and my reviewing is just plain crappy. NOTE: No copyright infringement is intended. Wii is a trademark of Nintendo, Galaga ‘90 and Galaga ‘88 are trademarks of Namco, and TurboGrafx-16 is currently a trademark of Hudson Soft and was a trademark of NEC. This is a fan made video of a game played on the Wii using a Wii Remote. I mentioned that the SWAGshow had a review of Galaga Legions, but it was actually Swag doing a review on GameKnightsShow. With that in mind, here’s the link… www.youtube.com

Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Super Paper Mario for the Nintendo Wii from Intelligent Systems and Nintendo. Super Paper Mario is a hybrid side-scrolling platform game and RPG, a clever and inventive game in which flipping the game from 2D to 3D is as simple as pressing the A button. This video features gameplay of Super Paper Mario and commentary.

Classic Game Room HD reviews HEAVY FIRE: SPECIAL OPERATIONS for Nintendo Wii from the Wii Shop Channel. This download WiiWare game is like Operation Wolf meets Modern Warfare. Set in Somalia, you shoot “terrorists” or something… basically pop up targets that pose a minimal threat. Heavy Fire is an arcade style shooter on rails with predictable gameplay and functioning controls. Play single player or co-op with a friend. Shoot enemies for points but don’t expect much variety in game play, locations or enemies. Heavy Fire is a bare bones budget light gun style shooter that gets the job done for an affordable price, but true arcade gun game aficionados should look elsewhere. This CGR review of Heavy Fire Special Operations on Nintendo Wii has gameplay from Heavy Fire Special Operations Wiiware on Nintendo Wii showing on rails shooter game play.

Classic Game Room HD reviews MY AQUARIUM 2 for Nintendo Wii from Hudson. This aqauarium simulator is downloadable WiiWare from the Nintendo Wii Shop Channel and can be had for 500 points (at the time of this review). A wide variety of exotic fish can be dropped into fish tanks that you design with improved fishtank design tools. Aside from some new fish and a few new items little has changed from the first My Aquarium, but fans will find new challenges in trying to breed fish and unlock a variety of new species. This CGR review of My Aqauarium 2 for Nintendo Wii shows gameplay from WiiWare My Aquarium 2 featuring fishtank sim game play in action.
