You will have chosen this when you first set up your internet. 10) Click ok and save the connection settings. The console will now test the connection. If it is successful, it will ask if you would like to update your Wii. Click yes. Congratulations, your Nintendo Wii is now connected to the internet. You can now browse the shop channel and downloaded a variety of software, including games made especially for the Wii and the BBC iPlayer.
